10th grader completes 5k for 911

10th grader Vecchione has cerebral palsy. She completed a 5k run in Pennsylvania (in the pouring rain!) on September 11th called the 9/11 Heroes Run. This charity run is hosted by one of the nation’s leading veteran focused non-profits – the Travis Manion Foundation. More than 80 runs are held around the world “to honor our nation’s first responders who selflessly sacrificed on September 11th and service members who have served in the wars since.” You can join a race in your area, host one or even run one virtually to support the cause through the month of September.
