  • Tallest U.S. President: 6 ft 4 in (Pres. Trump is 6’3″); Lincoln’s wife Mary Todd stood 5 ft 2 in.
  • Father to 4 sons; Only 1 lived to adulthood.
  • Little formal education; avid reader. One-time store clerk.

Lincoln’s Famous Speech: Gettysburg Address

  • Approx 2 minutes; Just over 270 words.
  • 5 handwritten copies still exist; One copy in “Lincoln Bedroom” in the White House.
  • Recent History: Some now believe Lincoln suffered from Small Pox during speech.
