  • Plot included recruiting 55 children aged 11-14.
  • Planned to use children in terrorist attack targeting 30 sites across London.
  • Showed children graphic videos of beheadings and made them role play killing police officers during training sessions.

Important Facts:

  • The ringleader, an after-school program administrator at a mosque, first came under the suspicion of UK police in 2016.
  • Inspired by other attacks in Europe.
  • Wanted to use “guns, knives, bombs and large cars to kill innocent people,” according to UK police.
