Backstory: Haspel

  • Haspel oversaw a so-called CIA “black site” where “enhanced interrogation” or “torture” (depending on your p.o.v.) took place.
  • She sent orders to destroy video tapes of evidence.
  • Her boss says HE made the orders, yet her name was on the cable as his deputy at the time.

Backstory: Cat’s Eye

  • CIA “Black Site” held two terrorist currently held at Gitmo.
  • Abu Zubaydah: allegedly involved in terror plots dating back to 1988 in Africa, USS Cole, and 9/11.
  • Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri: alleged mastermind of USS Cole terror attack that killed 17 American sailors.
