A limited number of consumers have reported they found small, pliable metal pieces in the product, and out of an abundance of caution, the company is recalling this product.

Tyson Foods on a recall of 30,000 pounds of Tyson® Brand fully cooked “Fun Nuggets” due to the risk they “may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically metal pieces.”

Why It Matters: The US Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) received “one reported minor oral injury.” Regulators want anyone who has the impacted frozen products to throw them out or return them because of the risk the product.

Tyson Foods produced the packages in question in one specific facility which distributed chicken nuggets to nine states: Alabama, California, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
