It’s a significant number — 3 percent of the population — and cause for worry about the trend continuing as we go forward.

  • Our nation’s second-most populous state reported its highest number of new cases to date: 10,865 – surpassing a record previously set in July.
  • Once known as one of America’s safest city in the country, El Paso, is now among Texas’ COVID hotpots. The city has been under a stay-at-home order since October 30, meaning many nonessential businesses are closed, but that order is set to expire Wednesday night unless
  • BIG PICTURE: Earlier this week, the U.S. surpassed 10 million cases, and today, COVID-19 cases, deaths and hospitalizations are on the rise nationwide. In response, many states and cities have announced further shutdown and social distancing measures to prevent further spread.
