I didn’t join the Navy to be a female fighter pilot; I joined the Navy to be a fighter pilot.
Navy aviator Caitie Perkowski (call sign “Jenga”) on flying in the first all-women fighter pilot team to fly in formation over the Super Bowl.
Why It Matters: The women will make history as part of an all-female team to celebrate 50 years of women in the Navy aviation.
