Why It Matters: LeBron James, who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers, broke the record for all-time points scored in the NBA on Tuesday night. The previous record holder, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, held the title for 39 years. In his post-game press conference, James was asked what it was like being a dad in light of his new record. He explained that for his sons, who were at the game on Tuesday and also play basketball, it's about "setting an example and being a role model every day."
