LSU women’s basketball coach Kim Mulkey told Iowa player Caitlin Clark after Iowa beat LSU 94-87 in the March Madness Elite Eight game on Monday evening.

Why It Matters: The game between LSU and Iowa made for the most-watched women’s college basketball game ever as Caitlin Clark continues to break records as one of the greatest female basketball players of all time. Tuesday’s viewership peaked at an unprecedented 16 million viewers while averaging 12.3 million viewers. Now that the Final Four for the tournament has been established, more viewing records are expected to be broken in the coming games.
