What To Know: Just after midnight struck on Labor Day SpaceX Crew-6, returned to earth off the coast of Florida in a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft, after a successful six-month mission at the International Space Station.
The crew, two Americans Stephen Bowen and Woody Hoburg, one astronaut from the United Arab Emirates Sultan AlNeyadi and a Russian cosmonaut, Andrey Fedyaev, conducted over 200 science experiments, participated in spacewalks, upgraded power systems on the space station and installed solar arrays (solar panels) on the outpost.
A new crew, Crew-7, arrived at the ISS in August and will replace Crew-6 until February 2024.
