Report: Higher Use of Public Libraries Among Gen Z & Millennials

It always takes people by surprise when they think of young people reading, but Gen Z and Millennials definitely still read.

Why It Matters: The report highlights that Gen Z and Millennials use public libraries at a higher rate than older generations – including both in-person and digital use. Additionally, the younger generations show preference for print books rather than digital versions, and the report specifies that 54 percent of Gen Z and Millennials visited a physical library within the previous 12 months.”
