You have the protests, coronavirus pandemic, now the wildfires. What else can go wrong?
- PROTESTS: Both peaceful protests and violent riots have occurred in Portland, Oregon over the last 100 days. Portland is just one of many cities across the country where protesters have taken to the streets in the wake of the fatal shooting of George Floyd in Minneapolis on Memorial Day.
- COVID-19: Speaking on Friday, Dr. Fauci indicated the U.S. is not yet “rounding the corner”, citing the more than 6 million U.S. and 190,000 deaths across the country, with up to 4,000 new cases and 1,000 deaths being reported daily.
- WILDFIRES: To date, the wildfires have killed at least 33 people in California (22), Oregon (10), and Washington (1).
