Sarah Jo McKee on how she felt when her husband “pull[ed] out a picture of a king sized ‘Farmer’s Wife’ quilt sewn with Civil War reproduction fabric prints.”
McKee won the Judge’s Choice ribbon at the Pacific International Quilt Festival in California (a premiere quilting competition). She spent over a decade working on the quilt for her husband. It was completed days before he passed away.
