Ours is a positive message, that humans and technology can live together in harmony.

Coperni CEO and co-founder Arnaud Vaillant after the company’s Paris Fashion Week show, which featured robot dogs sharing the stage with models.

What To Know: Coperni, a Paris-based fashion brand, made headlines when they spray painted a dress onto Bella Hadid in September. Their latest Paris Fashion Week show featured robots on the runway and represented a “modern fable” based on the 17th-century poem, “The Wolf and the Lamb.” But in this case, it was a story about power dynamics between humans and robots, sending a message that the two can live in harmony with one another.

In an interview with Vogue, Vaillant said, “We didn't want to compete with the [spray-on dress] moment last season. Because it was so unique, so magical, so strong. We didn't want to do a big finale with a supermodel. We really wanted an evolution. We're fascinated by tech, so we always try to have experiences and technology in our shows.”
