We need to take back America and not let this divisive hatred further pull us apart.
United States Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) announcing he will not seek reelection to the Senate and instead will travel throughout the country, speaking out to see if there is an interest in a movement to “mobilize the middle.”
Why This Matters: A long-time “conservative democrat,” Sen. Manchin’s departure from Congress opens-up a Senate seat that could change the balance of power; if a Republican wins the seat, the Senate may have a Republican majority – if a Democrat wins, the Democrats could maintain majority. The timing and nature of his announcement raises questions about a potential run for the White House.
