Severe Storms Impact More Than 50 Million Americans

Significant severe thunderstorms are expected today (April 1st) into Tuesday.

The National Weather Service Prediction Center on X, formerly known as Twitter, forecasting major storms impacting U.S. central and eastern regions.

Why It Matters: The large storm system moving across the U.S. reaches from Texas to Virginia, with more than 50 million people facing various degrees of severe storm threats. On Monday, the storm will primarily impact stretches of the country ranging from northern Texas to Indiana with storms causing potential hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes.
