Severe Weather Impacts Majority of U.S.

Significant winter, severe storm, and wind impacts continue through Tuesday night.

The National Weather Service outlining key messages on winter storms impacting a large portion of the country. The East and West Coasts along with the central U.S. face conditions causing travel delays, school closures, and power outages.

Why It Matters: Strong weather systems have stirred up blizzards, heavy winds and rain spanning across the Plains, Midwest, South, and Northeast regions. Based on data from the National Weather Service, “As of Tuesday morning, all but one of the contiguous states—North Dakota—had a weather warning, watch or advisory,” explains The Wall Street Journal.
