While we don’t know motive yet, we know that our ICE law enforcement is facing unprecedented violence against them. It must stop.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem in a social post updating the public on a shooting Wednesday morning at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Dallas, Texas.

What We Know: A gunman shot three people; two victims were transported to the hospital and the third passed away at the scene. The shooter, who authorities say “opened fire at a government building from an adjacent building,” died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Authorities confirmed no law enforcement suffered injuries in the attack, but declined to share further details on the victims.

From FBI Director Kash Patel: “While the investigation is ongoing, an initial review of the evidence shows an idealogical motive behind this attack (see photo below). One of the unspent shell casings recovered was engraved with the phrase “ANTI ICE.” More updates will be forthcoming.”
