Steven Spielberg Wins Best Film Drama at Golden Globes

Director Steven Spielberg, 76, accepting a Golden Globe award for his autobiographical drama, “The Fabelmans.” He received the Best Director – Motion Picture award, making it his fifth Golden Globe.

Big Picture: Considered one of the best directors in Hollywood, Steven Spielberg’s career first made headlines when he directed “Jaws” (1975). He has directed a total of 34 movies, many of which are blockbuster films such as “E.T. The Extra Terrestrial” (1982), “Schindler’s List” (1993), “Saving Private Ryan” (1998), “Lincoln” (2012), and “West Side Story” (2021).

Spielberg’s latest film, “The Fabelmans,” hit theaters in November 2022. His autobiographical film also won a Golden Globe award for Best Motion Picture – Drama.
