Taylor Swift ahead of her album, “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version),” which has now established her as the leading female artist with the most No. 1 albums.

With Taylor Swift's recent release, "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)," the artist has reached more No. 1 albums than any other woman in history. Swift, who has 12 top albums, passed previous record holder Barbra Streisand. The only artists with more No. 1 albums are Jay-Z (14) and The Beatles (19).

"Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" is also the year's biggest new album, surpassing Morgan Wallen's "One Thing at a Time." Swift's re-release of her 2010 album is part of her ongoing project of reclaiming earlier work, which she does not have ownership of. "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" is the third of six re-releases.
