Most of the time the saying goes ‘wrong place wrong time.’ But this time I believe God had me, us, at the right place at the exact right time.
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver K.J. Osborn tweeted after helping save a man from a burning car in Austin, Texas.
What To Know: Osborn was riding in an Uber around 2:30 am on Monday when he and the driver came across a wrecked car that had run into a pole and was on fire. Osborn, alongside three others, rescued a man from the flaming car and carried him 10-15 yards away from the fire, Osborn said. The rescued man was taken to the hospital and police have confirmed his condition is not life threatening.
Osborn was in Austin visiting friends at the time of the crash. Osborn was drafted to the NFL in 2020 after earning a degree in sociology at the University of Buffalo. He is spending the offseason finishing up his master’s degree at Miami in criminal justice.
