“We Got Him”: Suspected Arrested In Charlie Kirk Killing

We got him.

Gov. Spencer J. Cox on the arrest of the suspect accused of killing prominent conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Why It Matters: The 22 year-old was arrested in Washington County, Utah (about a 3 – 4 hour drive from the location of the press conference where the governor addressed the public). Friends and family aided law enforcement for turning the suspect in.

Both the Utah governor and FBI Director gave credit to the public for their help: “This would not have been available without you, the media and you, the public.”

The FBI says they have 11,000 leads.
